Who Should Model in Catalogs?
I was reading an article that made me think about how I feel when looking at some of these plus size clothing catalogs. I don’t like the ones that use skinny models because it doesn’t look right. If you are a size 18 then how are you going to picture yourself in an outfit that’s worn by someone who is a size 2? You don’t see size 10 models in Victoria Secret’s catalogs so why should the reverse be true? Big, small, short, tall, should all be allowed to model, however the people in charge need to make sure that the models fit the audience that they are targeting. It’s as simple as that.

I’m going to agree. But that would be an awful lot of different models, huh? To save that kind of time, money and tree-killing catalogs, how about we go with AVERAGE models. I say all models are now size 6-size 12 and then everyones happy? Right?
