I guess we Americans just don’t know how to dress because both Oprah Winfrey and Tyra Banks have aired shows about buying the best jeans for your body.

I remember seeing Oprah’s show at least a year ago where she had the two ladies going around helping people in stores get rid of their “mom jeans” and other fashion no-no’s. Now she has a feature on her website about Blue Jean Basics.

As for Miss Tyra, she tries so hard.

Here’s a segment from February 5th. Apparently she and the audience are dressed so terribly that they have to immediately rip off their pants. I’m not trying to be a prude or anything, but this just seems so tasteless and attention seeking.

I don’t think Oprah would approve.
