I was flicking around the TV this morning and I came across a segment on the Today Show. I only caught the end of it, but they were discussing something on iVillage that asked would women rather have brains or beauty.

The guest on the show mentioned how people were posting extremely hateful and inflammatory remarks regarding overweight people on the blog.

Wow, what a surprise.

Next they mentioned that as an experiment a lady who has problems with her weight was on the subway reading a book titled “Fat is Contagious”. She noticed that people would stare at her, look at the book title, and move away.

L-O-L are you serious?

Why do humans always have to find something to be discriminatory about? Get a frickin’ life and stop worrying about how everyone else looks. Oh I know, it makes you feel good about yourself. “At least I’m not one of them, and since I’m not, I’ll take great pleasure in being rude because I’ve earned it.”

Grow up and don’t give me any of that “its for health reasons” crap.

By the way, the show also mentioned that polled teenagers said they’d rather be fit than stupid however older people didn’t feel that way.
