I Am Not Hating
Former Flava of Love winner Deelicious must be pushing forward in her “career” because there’s been a few new comments on a post about her that I made back in November.
“Don’t hate” is what they say. Boy how I loathe that term.
As the old saying goes ignorance is bliss.
I’m all for supporting curvy women in the media, but not when it’s degrading. I will never look at a woman flashing her bare behind up in the air and see it as anything more than disgusting.
Instead I choose to applaud the curvy women who keep it classy. Jordin Sparks, Raven Symone, Jennifer Hudson, Monique….these women display the true essence of beauty.
You don’t have to flash your trash in order to be beautiful. A woman is worth more than her sex appeal… but I guess anyone who says that is just hating.

“A woman is worth more than her sex appeal” Profound quote - it goes back to the same thing about thinkin that oozing sex appeal - is power…because people “admire” you…men stare women stare you’re noticed.
Sometimes as a curvy woman with low self esteem you do everything to look slimmer and or fade into the background..and when one person says ..Oh wow - you look great… you wear that outfit til all the colour is washed out of it.
I think alot of people mix attention with power or admiration - when there is such thing as bad attention…
But as your other post regarding Jill Scott highlights - sex isnt admirable…its still trash if its out there in the public domain and “flashin your trash” as it were.

I went to read your other post and the picture is deegusting! I agree that on the show she did carry herself with a lot of class, but ever since she has shown too much a***. I am so sick of seeing it all over. The sad thing is it seems like a majority of the women on Flavor of Love 1,2, and 3 are doing the same thing. What I can’t believe is that they have no problem putting it all on display like that. Thanks for letting me vent.
