A Curvy Diva’s Guide to Swimsuits
Alright ladies, I don’t know how it’s going where you live, but here it’s HOT and that means it’s time to break out the swimsuit.
Here’s the thing, I hate swimsuits, I can’t think of a time where I’ve ever been 100% comfortable in a swimsuit. That’s probably because I don’t like people staring at my chest, so I like to cover up as much as possible.
I wanted to give a few tips on summer swim wear but the only tip I can think of is to wear something that’s flattering for your body type. So what if they make bikini’s in a size 18; that doesn’t mean it looks good on you. With all due respect, don’t pull a Keely Shaye Smith.
I know we all want to be cute and sexy but cute and sexy doesn’t always mean show as much skin as possible. I don’t care what size you are, everyone has problem areas. Don’t flaunt them and hope that people will think it’s sexy.
- If your breasts are large and in charge, get a swimsuit with some support so they don’t come flopping down and falling out on all the kids in the pool.
- If your back has a few extra packages, don’t wear something with your back all out. Wear something that’s flattering to your entire figure.
- If your thighs are well fed then don’t go prancing around in a G-string. There are some really cute swim skirts and cover ups that are a lot sexier than string up your butt.
- If your belly is deliciously round, then that’s cool but bare midriff styles were not made with your body type in mind.
