Imagine waking up on the holidays with such excitement and glee. It’s time to open presents, your favorite moment out of all the year.

You grab the box, untie the bow, unwrap the paper and behold…your loved one has gotten you a gift card for plastic surgery.

How do you take that?

On one hand I could see some women jumping for joy because they planned on having surgery anyway. But on the other hand I have to laugh and ask, is this what we’ve come to? Surgeons are now promoting gift cards for their services?

What a way to insult your wife!

“I know you’ve been wanting that tummy tuck, happy anniversary!”

Is the world churning out such ugly children that no one can grow up to love the way the look without a little nipping and tucking?

Are we trying to create a new breed of women who are all Stepford Wives?

I say thanks for the sentiment, but you can keep your plastic surgery gift cards.
