Forever 21 To Launch Plus Size Line
The fact that a company is going to start making clothes that actually fit a range of people should not be news, it should be the standard- but that’s just my opinion.
Forever 21 has announced that they are going to launch a women’s plus size line in May. Of course, they have to test it out first so it will only be online and at certain locations.
According to the Chicago Tribune, “It’s normal procedure for us to test in certain markets and then roll out to the entire chain at a later date,” said Linda Chang, Forever 21 senior manager of marketing. “We definitely feel that our entire customer base in all markets would love our plus-size line, so hopefully it will blow out at our large stores and we can continue with a roll-out to the rest of our markets.”
It’s a step in the right direction and I’m sure that many teens will be quite happy to have these fashion options available to them. Let’s just hope the fashions are body-type appropriate.
