Senators Tom Harkin and Lisa Murkowski have introduced a bill to see junk food banned from school vending machines.

Yea, yea, yea…kids are so fat, junk food is so bad, blah blah blah. Ok I get it but seriously let’s stop wasting time! Why is this country so obsessed with things that are (relatively) of low importance?

Let’s focus on the real issues here because there are a lot worse things than junk food going on in schools. True, healthier options need to be more accessible, but can we get some meaningful legislation passed please? I’m shaking my head on this one.
