“Biggest Loser” Needs to Gain Weight

I try not to make body comments but I was shocked while watching Tuesday nights season finale of “The Biggest Loser”.

While it was very inspirational to watch people reach their goals I was a bit disappointed that the winner, Helen Phillips, appeared to be so thin. I didn’t know if my eyes were fooling me or what was going on but she looked way too thin, almost unhealthy.

I thought The Biggest Loser was about promoting a healthy lifestyle not about transforming yourself into skin and bones.

I had to get online to see if anyone else noticed this. OK! Magazine says that Phillips has been advised by her doctors to regain up to 15lbs. I bet that’s a Biggest Loser first!

On another note, it seemed like some contestants did not lose that much weight at home. I believe the lowest amount was 47lbs total. Some may frown but I think it’s good that there was some realism thrown into it. It wasn’t spectacular and amazing like we like to see on TV, but it sure was realistic and the type of results that I bet most people experience.
